Did I waste my time for this book? ðŸ¤I didn't know it's about marriage in convenience. I guess that's not my thing.
Tapi terlepas dari konsep itu, saya nggak menemukan sesuatu yang berkembang dalam ceritanya, dari awal sampai akhir sangat flat.
Sorry it didn't work for me.

Not really worth the hype
if you want to have a light reading during the weekend to makes you feel relax, this is the book you are looking for.Light, cheesy, and no need to overthinking.
I like it.
the typical chick-lit novel, my guilty pleasure haha.

This novel has a common theme like some mangas (Japanese comics) have, a secret or contract wedding without any feeling in the first place but end up falling in love with each other.Something that I feel unsatisfied from this novel is that the story plot and the feeling, which are developed inside the main characters for each other, are a bit in a rush. I just don't feel the chemistry when they're struggling with their own feelings.
Another thing that bothered me is that the author use 'English'

I just don't feel the chemistry when they're struggling with their own feelings.
Another thing that bothered me is that the author use 'English' in some conversation that I think isn't suitable. For example, when Ina and Revel was in a court for consultation, the mediator say some words in English to Revel, which I think that it's not a common conversation type between a court officer and his client.
Regardless to some flaws in this novel, which published at the first time in 2011, the author has a talent to make a great story and a better novel, as I can read it from her next novel "Dirty Little Secret" which is published in 2014.

I've always loved a-fake-marriage story like this, but i expect there will be more cute and sweet interactions between the main characters. and i keep wondering why i can't fall for the male lead as hard as i do for ervin (the male lead in Miss Pesimis). It's not that revel is unattractive (gosh he's too charming, even his name alone sounds hot), but i just think that ervin's best-friend-turned-boyfriend charm is melting me more. al finished reading this book in three hours and quite enjoyed it. I've always loved a-fake-marriage story like this, but i expect there will be more cute and sweet interactions between the main characters. and i keep wondering why i can't fall for the male lead as hard as i do for ervin (the male lead in Miss Pesimis). It's not that revel is unattractive (gosh he's too charming, even his name alone sounds hot), but i just think that ervin's best-friend-turned-boyfriend charm is melting me more. also his cute-but-romantic jealousy was exposed more by the author, rather than revel's cute-but-too-flat reaction. however still i think the overall was good enough. a cliche plot but the author wrapped it with some interesting twists. too bad the ending and epilogue was not too "incredible" as i hope it to be, but it's acceptable though. gonna rate it 4/5 because i totally love the chemistry between ina and revel! ...more

I've read this kind of story several times. And now it bored me, so yeah it's kind of love contract into real love. It was okay and i used to like this kind of plot so i guess 3 stars were good. Inara the smart cute and independent woman with petite figure who married Revel 'the greatest guy in Indonesia' and super rich celebrity. It started with contract and ended with love. Weird premise... still don't understand how this is a logical solution to their respective problems, but storyline was interesting enough I guess. Well done mbak aliaZalea! what a great book! I dont know what to say, but this book feels so.. real :) Ceritanya emang kalau menurut saya sih bisa ditebak. Tapi banyak juga konflik-konflik menarik lainnya. From a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this book as 9
Well, Revel is only there in fiction, he is just unlike man for real. All I can remember from Ina is strawberry. So, what I wanna say is, the conflict is not high enough to touch my heart.
